How much is the entry fee?

We welcome all visitors to our farm park and there is no entry fee to see the animals. We do sell animal feed which can be purchased at the farmshop till for a small fee, which all animals can eat.

However donations are always welcome to help with the continued upkeep of all our animals and birds.

The play barn and soft play area does have a small fee per child and adult to enter.

How do i book for a Sunday carvery or children's party?

To make a booking for Sunday carvery, you will need to phone or come to the farmshop in person, to provide contact information, how many people are in your booking and also pay a £5 deposit per person upfront.

Carvery tables are available from 12pm – 2.30pm

To make a party booking you will need to call or visit the farmshop and provide details and also pay a £100 deposit which is a payment for 10 children, there accompanying adult, a childrens basket meal for the 10 children and 2 hours play in the playbarn.

Parties are available 11-1pm and 2-4pm monday to saturday.

Parties on a sunday are 11-1pm only

What time is the play barn open?

The playbarn is open daily 10am – 5pm from the 1st March until 31st October.

The playbarn is open daily 10am – 4pm from the 1st November until 28th February.

Last entry into the playbarn is 1 hour before closing.

 

How much does it cost to go into the Playbarn?

The Playbarn entry charges are as follows:- 

Under 1 years of age is £2.50 per child, to include an accompanying adult.

12 years of age and under is £6 per child, to include and accompanying adult.

Any extra people over 12 years of age are £1 to go into the playbarn.

The playbarn apparatus are for children upto the age of 12 years only.

Please pay for the indoor play when you enter the playbarn. 

What does the farm shop sell?

Our farm shop sells an array of gifts and souvenirs featuring the local area and farm animals.

We have a huge variety of local ciders including Sheppy’s, Lilley’s, Harry’s, Rich’s and Exmoor cider and we have Local beers from Exmoor Ales.

We sell Devon chunk pies and pasties. We also bake a selection of pasties daily.

We sell lots of handmade products from local suppliers including, jewellery, handbags, soaps, cushions, Jams and chutneys.

Some of our cakes and slices in the coffeeshop are homemade, along with our desserts.

If your not sure what to buy for a gift we also have gift vouchers that can be spent on anything at Doniford farm park.

Our Aladdin’s Cave also known as the Cornbarn is open daily from 10am – 5pm. You neveer know what you are going to find in there. There are lots of antiquities and bric a brac.

 

 

Where can I park?

We have a car park available for patrons of the farm park, coffee shop, restaurant and play barn while they are visiting us.

We have no beach or train station parking available.

Are Dogs are allowed at the Farm Park?

All well behaved dogs on short leads are allowed at the farm park.

Dogs are allowed in all outside areas of the farm park but not in the buildings. We do have a covered area outside on the patio that dogs are welcome to sit in.

Only assistance dogs are allowed in the buildings. No dogs are permitted on the benches outside.

No dogs are allowed in the playbarn.

 

Can we bring our own food to Doniford Farm Park

We dont allow people to bring their own food, this inlcudes no packed lunches or picnics.

We understand that sometimes children need snacks and we do sell a wide range in our farmshop, playbarn and restaurant.

We sell a varied choice of foods, for a range of diets, please enquire within.

If any of your party have allergies please let us know, we hope we can accomodate them,

Do you have gift vouchers available?

Gift vouchers are available to purchase from the farmshop, they start at £10.

The gift vouchers are valid for a year from date of issue and no change is given.
